About Angela Goding
At MoMA PS1, Goding oversees the Museum’s development strategy including fundraising, membership and special events. With over 15 years working in the arts, she began her career as a professional ballet dancer, moving from San Diego to NYC at the age of 17 to dance with the Joffrey. Her wildly diverse work experience includes waiting tables at the iconic Odeon in NYC; working in nightclubs in Paris and Tokyo; and running one of the first Chinese contemporary art galleries in Beijing. Her career in development began at The Kitchen and continued to The Museum of Modern Art where for five years, she ran The Junior Associates, organizing extensive educational programming and leading art-focused trips to Brazil, China and India. Angela has been featured in J. Crew, Kate Spade and Nordstrom fashion campaigns. In her spare time, she enjoys hanging out in Rockaway Beach with her vintage Citroen DS named Edith.
